The Hall provides a Meeting place for several orders of Freemasonry and also acts as a Community Hub, regularly engaging in fundraising and charitable events. Just recently we have been a drop off centre for the Feeding Families initiative and the finishing point for a TLC sponsored cycle ride.

Eanred Lodge is what Freemasons refer to as a 'Craft Lodge.' A Craft Lodge is where all Freemasons begin their Masonic journey. At Eanred we consider ourselves to be a family orientated, down to earth and friendly Lodge.

There are also three other Lodges in the building which belong to what are known as 'Side Degrees.' These are Eanred Chapter No.7478 (Royal Arch), St. Lawrence Lodge No.1093 (Mark Master Masons) and Harte Conclave No.47 (Order of the Secret Monitor.)

As Freemasons we actively support each other, our families and the wider community in general.
Alongside the regular Lodge meetings, when we perform certain ceremonies, which are like morality plays, we have various social gatherings throughout the year. These can be Race Nights, BBQ's, Valentines Nights and various Celebration events.

These are all open to non masons and we actively encourage members to bring family and friends along.

Eanred Lodge has a wide range of members of all ages and from different backgrounds. From Decorators to IT consultants, Welders to Driving Instructors, Tattoo Artists to Roofers, Electricians to Car Salesmen. We also come from all across the local area: Billingham; Norton; Stockton; Hartlepool; Middlesbrough and Redcar and Cleveland.
In a nutshell, we are a group of like minded, family orientated, charitable individuals who enjoy the friendship which Freemasonry brings.

From the outside a Masonic Hall can often look rather mundane. However, once inside the lodge room itself, Freemasonry comes to life. Age-old Artefacts, Art, Masonic Symbols and the pageantry of our rituals. More than anything, when Masons gather in the lodge, it’s a reaffirmation of our Masonic values of brotherly love, relief, and truth.
A unique aspect of lodge life is the coming together of generations and differing backgrounds. To become a Mason, one only needs to be a man of good character and to believe in a Supreme Being, whatever form that may take for each individual. What binds Freemasons together is our obligation to each other to become the best possible versions of ourselves.
With this bond as common ground, strong, lifelong friendships form naturally between men of different generations, religions, races, economic backgrounds, or political beliefs. Ask any Mason, and he’s sure to tell you that through the lodge, he has become Brothers with men whom he may otherwise never have crossed paths with in everyday life. This is one of the fundamental constancies of life as a Freemason.
